Society for the Visually Handicapped was founded in the year 1983 by
a group of well-meaning, socially aware people to provide service for meeting
the educational needs of the visually impaired students.
SVH completed two decades of its service in 2003 with contributions and
support of a team of dedicated volunteers, friends and wellwishers. Presently
SVH has 32 members including office-bearers. More than 50 sighted and visually
impaired volunteers stretch their supportive hands to fulfill the aims
of SVH. However all services mentioned below are free of charge.
